Monty was born and raised in central Texas. In 1999, he joined the US Air Force and married his high school sweetheart, Kristi. They moved all over the globe, living in Okinawa twice, Florida in between, and then moved to Georgia in 2011. Monty and Kristi have four children: Qyn, Shelby, Chesnee, and Fynn. They joined Bethany Baptist in 2012 and Monty wrapped up a 14 year Air Force career. He became Worship Leader at Bethany in 2014. Monty enjoys music, outdoors, and the Texas Aggies.

They joined Bethany Baptist in 2012. She became Youth Leader in 2016. Kristi is also a professional photographer, and enjoys music, friends, and the Texas Aggies.
