Bethany Baptist Church - 5064 Bethany Rd. Hahira, GA

Adult Ministry

Bethany is dedicated to enriching the spiritual lives of everyone in our community, young and not so young alike. If you're on the fence about joining a ministry, look through some of the groups listed here and give one a shot. You'll be surprised at how getting involved in a ministry can help grow you spiritually, as well as positively affect those around you.

Men

  • Men's Ministry

Our Men’s Ministry is to help men journey through life and faith. This is done through providing opportunities for men to get to know each other outside the regular routine of “church”. Examples are skeet shooting, going to a movie, grilling out, fishing, hunting, etc. As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens another man.
  • Nehemiah

Nehemiah is a group of adult men that meets from 8 - 9 am in the gym every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month for coffee and group Bible discussions.

Women

  • Soul Sisters

Our name and purpose is simple. We meet regularly for a time of sharing, laughing, and sometimes crying. This is a great time for women of all ages to connect with each other outside the four walls of the church. To keep up to date as to when and where these gatherings happen, contact Kristi Hammack to be added to our Soul Sisters Facebook page.
  • Naomi

Naomi is a care group that is made up of senior adult ladies. We meet the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of every month from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. During this time we plan, organize, and make items to care for the needs of others. This includes things such as Thanksgiving baskets, food for shut-ins and for those sick. We also provide items for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

Seniors

  • Triple L

Living Longer and Loving it! That's what Triple L stands for. This is a co-ed senior adult group that meets at the church at 11 am every third Tuesday of the month for fun activities, entertainment and food.
